{"id":44,"date":"2011-01-06T22:08:36","date_gmt":"2011-01-06T08:08:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hobbsorchard.co.nz\/blog\/hobbsorc_blog\/wordpress\/?p=44"},"modified":"2011-01-07T20:57:16","modified_gmt":"2011-01-07T06:57:16","slug":"current-fruit-situation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hobbsorchard.co.nz\/blog\/hobbsorc_blog\/wordpress\/?p=44","title":{"rendered":"Current Fruit Situation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ok guys here&#8217;s the run-down on the current fruit situation here at Hobbs Orchard.<\/p>\n<p>We currently have P.Y.O Sundrop Apricots for $1.90\/kg.<br \/>\nWe also have plenty of Sundrop 1sts($3.00\/kg) and 2nds($2.50\/kg) for sale on the Stall.<br \/>\nBoth 1sts and 2nds will be available throughout the Apricot season.<\/p>\n<p>Roxburgh Red and Peeka \u00a0Apricots\u00a0are \u00a0expected to begin sometime next week.<\/p>\n<p>Valley Gold Apricots are about 1 1\/2 weeks away.<\/p>\n<p>MoorParks\u00a0 are still about two to three\u00a0weeks away.<\/p>\n<p>Our first Nectarines should be ready in about a week.<\/p>\n<p>We should have Peaches in about 2 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Late crop Nectarines should be ready in about 3 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>We have to remind you though that thanks to the unique, yet unpredictable, Central Otago climate these dates are merely an educated\u00a0guess and they may be adjusted if the weather has a temper tantrum!<br \/>\nTherefore it is a good idea to regularly check back into this page to make sure that the dates haven&#8217;t changed and we haven&#8217;t been hit by a plague of locusts!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ok guys here&#8217;s the run-down on the current fruit situation here at Hobbs Orchard.
