Well today’s weather was certainly interesting.
\nAt around 1:20pm\u00a0we had a very heavy downpour complete with thunder and lightning.
\nThis lasted for around 3 hours off and on. Not ideal growing conditions for Cherries!!<\/p>\n
Everytime the rain stopped I jumped on the tractor and blew the water off the Cherries with the sprayer to try and prevent them splitting but I won’t be able to tell how much damage has been done until tomorrow morning.
\nCertainly no damage to any other fruit including the Apricots as they are not quite ripe enough to be affected.<\/p>\n
We’re just happy we didn’t get any hail!! If we had then it would have been a diffent outcome!<\/p>\n
Anyway on the Stall at the moment we have:<\/p>\n
Cherries (Wlliamson and Stella), 1kg for $8
