PYO Nectarines Have Finished!!!

We got completely picked out of Nectarines yesterday thanks to a massive influx of customers.
That marks the end of PYO for this Fruit Season.

We only have a small range of fruit on the Fruit Stall at the moment as we are waiting for our Bon Chretian Pears to ripen up.
We expect the Pears to be good to go within the next 5 days.

Fruit For Waitangi Day

Today on the Stall we have the last of our Clutha Gold Apricots available as well as some Red Gravenstein Apples.

PYO Nectarines are also still available and the weather is meant to be fantastic today.
At this stage the Nectarines may be gone by the weekend so if you can make it up today then you will be able to get some before they run out.

Pears Running Late

Due to a very crazy fruit season our Bon Chretian Pears are running about a week late.
They are usually ready on Waitangi Day but this won’t be the case this year (the first time in 22 years!).
We expect them to be ready to roll early next week so I’ll be posting an update on the blog closer to the time and I’ll also be ringing those of you on our Pear ringing list to let you know ahead of time.

We don’t really have much available on the Stall today as we are between fruit varieties at the moment. We have a some stewing Apricots and a few Plums and Apples on the Stall as well as some really tasty PYO Nectarines.

Out of PYO Apricots and Peaches!

We have completely finished our PYO Apricots and Peaches for this season thanks to a very busy weekend.

Right now we have some remaining 2nd Grade Apricots available on the Fruit Stall as well as some Red Gravenstein Apples.
We also still have PYO Nectarines available.

By the end the week we are hoping to have Bon Chretian Pears available as well as Black Amber Plums.
Stay tuned!

PYO Still Available

We had a very busy day yesterday but there are still a good supply of PYO Nectarines and Peaches.
The Moorpark Apricots are still available but there are very few left so I expect them to be finished early in the day.

Weather is meant to be fine today with a high of 27c.

PYO Starts Again Today

We are starting PYO again today with Moorpark Apricots, Red Haven Peaches and Sun Glow Nectarines all available to be picked.
We expect the Moorparks to be finished by the end of today so if you are keen then try to get here as early as possible.
The Peaches and Nectarines should last through the weekend and into early next week. The majority of the Nectarines are firm at this stage so are great for bottling.

On the Stall we have some Apricots available as well as Billington Plums(3kg bags for $9), Shiro Plums (2kg bags $5) and early Red Gravenstein Apples (2.5kg bagsĀ for $5).

No PYO Until Tomorrow

We have run out of PYO Roxburgh Reds so we won’t have anyything available for PYO until tomorrow when we start our PYO Moorpark Apricots, Sunglow Nectarines and Red Haven Peaches.

PYO Peaches, Nectarines and Moorparks Start On Saturday!

We are starting our PYO Red Haven Peaches, Sunglow Nectarines and Moorpark Apricots this Saturday!
The extreme heat we have been having lately has moved everything along nicely.

We won’t be advertising in the paper this weekend either so that all our regular customers have the chance to get their fruit first.
See you then!

PYO Moorparks Still On Hold

Our PYO Moorparks will be starting again on Thursday once they have ripened sufficiently.
We still have some PYO Roxburgh Red and a handful of PYO Sundrop available.

We expect to start our Red Haven Peaches this Friday as well as our PYO Nectarines.

The 35c days we have been having is perfect for ripening up the fruit.
Let the good times roll!

PYO Moorparks Have Been Put On Hold

In order to allow the remaining Moorparks to ripenĀ up we are canceling PYO Moorparks for next day or two.
We will be starting them again Wednesday or Thursday.

We still have PYO Roxburgh Red available though.
