The Golden Delicious Apple is a wonderful old cooking Apple.
It’s great for bottling, saucing, stewing and pretty much anything you need a cooking Apple for!

They will be available on the Stall in 5kg bags for $5.

Here’s a picture of one of Mum’s cute little garden ornaments (one of my personal favourites!) that I thought I’d share with you.
As most of you know my mother loves her gardens!!! Hard to believe she started them here 22 years ago and ever since then they have been in a constant state of evolution.

Still Got Red Doris And Coxes Orange

We still have delicious Coxes Orange Apples (5kg/$5 or 10kg/$10) and yummy Red Doris Plums (2kg/$5) on the Stall.

We will be starting our Royal Gala Apples on Friday and the price for them will be the same as for the Coxes.

On another note here’s a photo that I thought you might enjoy of me out picking Red Doris Plums yesterday.

Coxes Orange Apples and Red Doris Plums

That’s right folks this weekend we have delicious Coxes Orange Apples and Red Doris Plums available on the Stall.
The Coxes Orange are available in 5kg ($5) or 10kg ($10) bags and the Red Doris are available in 2kg bags ($5).

Coxes Orange are excellent for cooking or eating.
Red Doris are a great eating Plum and are very popular with kids because of their small size (small plums for small hands!).

And remember if you’re heading up Roxburgh way then a great place to stop and have a nice picnic lunch or a swim is Pinders Pond just a couple of kms south of us.
Here’s a picture just to remind you all how lovely it is!

Plums and Pears On Stall

Today we have a great range of Plums and Pears available on the Stall.

We have beautiful Purple King Plums available in 2kg bags for $5. They are absolutely delicious when bottled or eaten fresh.
We also have some Red Doris Plums available in 2kg bags for $5. They are a great little eating or stewing Plum and their smaller size makes them popular with kids.

Bon Chretian Pears are still in plentiful supply and at only $1/kg they are a wonderful, cheap way to fill your preserving jars with delicious fruit for winter.
They are available on the Stall in 5kg ($5) and 10kg ($10) bags.

On another note, here’s a photo of some of Ruby’s bottling.
She decided to give Mum a break from it this past week and now she is absolutelty hooked!!!

PYO Starts Again Today

We are starting PYO again today with Moorpark Apricots, Red Haven Peaches and Sun Glow Nectarines all available to be picked.
We expect the Moorparks to be finished by the end of today so if you are keen then try to get here as early as possible.
The Peaches and Nectarines should last through the weekend and into early next week. The majority of the Nectarines are firm at this stage so are great for bottling.

On the Stall we have some Apricots available as well as Billington Plums(3kg bags for $9), Shiro Plums (2kg bags $5) and early Red Gravenstein Apples (2.5kg bags for $5).

PYO Moorparks Have Been Put On Hold

In order to allow the remaining Moorparks to ripen up we are canceling PYO Moorparks for next day or two.
We will be starting them again Wednesday or Thursday.

We still have PYO Roxburgh Red available though.
