Nearly Bird Scarer time again ๐Ÿ˜Š
The starlings and blackbirds are eyeing up the nectarines and are already trying their hardest to peck through the netting to get to the ripening cherries ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ
A good occasional blast from the gas-fired scarers will put paid to their nonsense ๐Ÿ˜Ž
โ€œBig Bertha and โ€œCaptain Jackโ€ are thrilled at the prospect of being put to work once again ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
Hereโ€™s a nostalgic photo of Sandra (Mum) and โ€˜Big Berthaโ€™ back in 2015โ€ฆโ€ฆthey go back a long way. The cherry block is a lot different compared to nowadays.
As we only sell what we grow, we hope to be open about mid-December with both new spuds and Dawson cherries ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฅ”
Will keep you posted ๐Ÿ‘
Remember when we open, our hours will be 7am – 9pm through to early June ๐Ÿ˜Š
If you have any fruit queries or would like to place an order, please txt or phone me (Ruby) on 027 288 6090.
