15 September

‘Little Toot’ our frost-fighting tractor had another short run this morning, only the third time this season. She is so excited about the future big runs which I am sure are just around the corner.
The sound of “Little Toot’ working so hard to save our livelihood is always comforting to listen too, even if she pales in comparison with the big pump motors further up the Valley. She used to feel rather self-conscious about this but now accepts that her role is equally as important as the big boys 😉
Being only a short burst this morning, no ice was made but here’s a shot of “Little Toot” hard at work 🙂

Rotary hoed the spud patch up in preparation for the planting out of our early spuds tomorrow. Also prepped the ground up by the dam for the next lot of new fruit trees which should arrive in the next day or two
